Guest guest
Hi to All I don't intend to get involved in the debate about the Rick Ross Web site - this has raised its head on this list back in January of this year - then as now the person who raised it d to the list, dropped a large stone into the pond, and then left again. Is this a coincidence? If anyone cares to look at that site they will find that Ross comes across as a very embittered individual with a huge axe to grind against 3HO. I would certainly dispute Josh's claim that it is all "true" - I can't debate it with him as he has already left us. My argument against such overt negativity stems from personal experience - I have been practising KY for over 2 years, and I know how I have benefitted from its positive influences in my life - I am sure that many more of you have had similar experiences. Probably the best thing I can do is to append the message sent to the list by Gururattan on this very subject back in January. Sat Nam! Gordon "Rattana Khalsa" <rattanak Dear Friends, Life is filled with choices. That is what free will is all about. In this world of duality there will always be those who seek the Light, chose to help others and act compassionately. There will also be those who seek darkness, destruction and choose to seed fear. Our choice is our own. Years ago one of my teachers heard and listened to destructive information. I will always remember his comment. He said, "I wish I had not heard. And I wish I had not listened. It is so much harder to remove doubts and negativity from my mind than to let them enter. Now I have more cleansing to do than before. I did not need to add that extra burden to my already heavy load." In the end we are responsible for ourselves and no one else. If we can actually deal with our own issues, we are very fortunate indeed. I have personally found that the only way to even have a chance to do this is to work on my own growith and not distract myself from myself by meddling in others affairs. Once we are perfect, maybe we will have time to looks at others' possible imperfections. But then we probably won't want to waste our time on that pettiness. We will devote our lives to helping each other, not condeming each other. TIPS = My touchstone is "Is this my movie or someone else's?" "God is the judge. Everyone is accountable and answerable to "God." My business is my relationship with "God". Anything else is not my business. The Tao says "The quickest way to enlightenment is through non-judgment." My approach is to choose what technology works for me and to use it to get closer to Light and Love. It is my connection to the Divine within myself that will help others achieve the same, if they choose. This is a full time job. My schedule is full. And so is my life with wonderful people, lots of opportunities to serve and a short time to enjoy these prescious moments on Planet Earth. The subject of this list is Kundalini Yoga, how to use it, how it impacts our lives and how we can support each other in our conscious evolution to open our hearts to ourselves and each other. It is my intention that in the process we will make our contritubution towards a peaceful, sustainable and heart-centered world. Blessings to all.
