WHAT I'VE FOUND

The Sivananda Companion To Yoga

[a must have book!]

pages 156-169

Yoga - The Iyengar Way

pages 14, 17, 49, 69, 79, 95, 133, 145, 187

Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class

page 210 - 211

"If you are pregnant and have no history of miscarriage, do all the

poses fully until the third month. Then cut out the exercises in which

you lie on the stomach and thus put a lot of pressure on the abdomen.

After the fifth month, take it gently with the Wind Removing Pose as

this creates pressure in the abdomen as well. But you may do all the

other poses fully. Your only real problem will be your size; yet,

surprisingy, even the biggest women can do the Standing Head to Knee and

the Rabbit right up to the last day before delivery. And the Half

Tortoise and the Stretching Pose can be done by moving the legs slightly

apart.

When you are postpartum, if your delivery was heathy and normal, start

your Yoga the moment you are out of bed. Do all the exercises from the

third day, no problems."

What is, by your experience, the best book about Kundalini Yoga and

pregnancy, with specific kriyas and meditations for pregnant women?

Thank you all in advance!

Gurmukh's "Bountiful, Blissful, Beautiful" is GREAT! Also, not a Kundalini

book, but really valuable and special is "Birthing From Within" by _Pam

England_ (http://www.birthingfromwithin.com/pam.html) and Rob Horowitz.

Blessings and Be Well!

teach alot of pregnent women and this book has both an uplifting text and
