Gyan mudra: thumb and index fingertips touching tightly enough to

feel your pulse, or to feel energy flow up your arm, but not so tight

that they turn white. In meditation poses such as easy pose (the

most basic cross-legged position) or half or full lotus, the arms are

resting on the knees with the palms up and the elbows straight.

 

BTW, Gururattan Kaur has kindly provided a wealth of basic

information about asanas, mudras, bhandas, mantras, pranayama,

chakras and so forth on her web site, with helpful pictures and in-

depth descriptions. This is a great place to go for all sorts of

useful information about how to practice KY - there are a series of

classes that include a variety of meditations and yoga sets, too.

 

People are always happy to answer questions, but in many cases you

will find that it is faster to go here and get exactly the
