Make 1/4 inch slices of orange or lemon peel and trim off the white half leaving the zest. Let the zest dry completely and fill a glass jar with it. It then can be ground to a powder to release the memory of summer sun or put whole into a cup of hot tea on a cold rainy afternoon. 2.)The smell of rosemary is good for calming nerves. It also helps to include it in your cooking. 3.)The best aromatherapy for depression is lavender flowers(Spanish,French,orEnglish). September is a good month to gather as many handfuls as you may find in your available gardens. They dry well & keep their fragrance until the next season or longer.
