Guest guest
I am wondering, it best to just focus of breathing > techniques and letting go, of should I continue to willfully unravel the navel point. Let Go! Cultivate allowing what is and being in the experience. There is a whole universe inside you that you can explore if you are open to the experience instead of trying to control everything. Guest guest
Dear All, I've often asked myself, "surrender and let go, or take control and make it happen?" What works for me is a balance: I alternate between taking control and letting go. I might breath in and just feel what I feel, surrender. Then, to balance this, I intentionally move my energy where I want it, use the mantras that remind me of what it is that I want to feel. Both together seem to afford the best balance. Like male/female; yin/yang; in breath/out breath, etc. warm love ~*~ sky
Guest guest
You are wise indeed Sky. I have followed conversations on this list for quite some time but do not participate much as the orientation seems to be connected with a particular way of looking at things, which is fine. I enjoy the discussions. I have a background in extensive Hatha Yoga and Pranayama practices as well as meditation on the Chakras. Kundalini Yoga, of course, is an ancient practice and is embedded in most yogic traditions. There are in fact many different perspectives on how Shakti Yoga should be best approached. For an eclectic view, I would invite you to join by clicking below. We focus on gentle methods of Kundalini awakening, and the overall context of non-violence which is important for long term success in any yoga. Besides Shakti Yoga and God-Realizataion, and Nonduality, we also discuss vegetarian diets, raw foods, and fruitarianism and its role in Kundalini practices. Would love to have some of you join this diverse group and contribute your wisdom. // raaaa1234 wrote: > Dear All, > > I've often asked myself, "surrender and let go, or take control and > make it happen?" > > What works for me is a balance: I alternate between taking control > and letting go.
