Guest guest
Dear Qetesh: One of my teachers commented recently that people are always asking her for meditations to fix something quickly, but some things are simply not amenable to quick fixes and require some time and space. That said, there are many kriyas and meditations which can be helpful during this stressful period. BTW, it sounds as if you are doing BreathWalk, whether by intention or not. Of course any form of charran jappa (walking meditation with mantra) is helpful, but when reading about your current feelings I thought of the BreathWalk called "Emotional Presence", which uses a breath pattern called the Owl, a 4/8 segmented breath. For the Owl, you inhale in four segments, thinking Sa Ta Na Ma, and exhale in 8 segments, thinking "Wa He Gu Ru Wa He Gu Ru". As far as kriyas & meditations are concerned, Gururrattan's book "Transitions to a Heart-Centered World" has many for both the heart center and the navel chakra - in such circumstance, I am drawn to "Instant Heart Chakra Opener" and "Exercise Set for Balancing Head and Heart". And in keeping with the idea that several chakras are involved, another fine meditation would be Sodarshan Chakra Kriya, which is designed to open them all. I wish you all the best during this transition period in your life - I am sure the thoughts of many of us here will be with you. All love surround you, Sadhant
