Guest guest
Hello everybody, I am newcomer as far as kundaliniyoga is concerned. Though I felt strange experiences during blessings from Asharamji Bapu back in india. Now in USA I am finding it difficult to concentrate on the tip of the nose as it constantly shifts or change the position of its image. Also it is paining or pressuring on my 3rd eye during concentrating on nose tip. Any Suggestions ? or any other method of concentrating ? I live in Illinois, 2 hours north of chicago and 1 hour south of milwaukee, WI. Is there any KY Teacher nearby my area? Thanking you all in advance SAT NAM Paresh R Patel Messenger - Talk while you surf! It's FREE. http://im./

Guest guest
Dear Paresh, Below is a warm up for meditation that Gururattan Kaur Khalsa gave us back in July. I have been using it daily and it really helps with my focus on the tip of my nose. I could not focus very well before I started doing this warm up. I hope this helps. For a teacher near you check http://www.kundaliniyoga.com/ . There is a 3ho Foundation in Chicago. I also live about 2 hours north of you in Sheboygan, Wi. I have been studying and practicing Ky for a number of years. I f I can help please ask. Feel free to post to my personal address. Sat Nam Mehtab Singh Brian ">HOT TIP-- >To be able to focus on the tip of the nose, do breath of fire with the arms >stretched out to the sides, parallel to the ground, palms up for 2-3 >minutes. This balances the hemispheres of the brain and makes it so much >easier to focus on the tip of the nose. This is a great warm up to do >before any meditation. > >Focusing on the tip of the nose crosses the optical nerves at the third eye. >After you have stabillized your a attention at the tip of the nose, be aware >of the third eye. You will feel a consolidation of energy there as well." > >Sat Nam, > >Gururattan Kaur > > > >------ >Free yourself! >Get 1 month of FREE* Internet access from MSN! >http://click./1/6322/10/_/458016/_/963787589/ >------ > >"Our destiny is to be happy!" > - Yogi Bhajan > >To from this list, go to >ONElist Member Center, or send mail to >KYTraining- > >Previous lessons available from: >kundalini yogaclasses.html >Also by autoresponder - kytxx >where xx should be replaced by Lesson No. ie 01, 02, 03 etc. > >Sponsored by Yoga Technology Press >Publishers of popular and practical books on Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. > > >

Guest guest
Dear Maggie, Welcome to our group, I'm sure you will find all your questions answered. What is it about meditation you want to know? I can remember when I started I tried to sit lotus style, quite convinced that it was part of the whole picture. Only after realizing that the lotus looked cool but had to be learned, did I realize that my efforts where in vain.Such for beginners mind. Paying attention to your breath, in, out, is a good way to start. It helped me a lot and is still the form I practice when getting rushed or stressed It's great while waiting at the supermarket.Come to think of it, I shouldn't be getting rushed or stressed, but then I'm only human Emaho and with Metta.
