Guest guest
Barbara, you mentioned the new Living Arts tape on Kundalini yoga, taught by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa. This was my first introduction to Kundalini Yoga. I got it less than 2 months ago. I do not experience the dizziness you mention. Instead, each time I use this particular tape, I have a wondrous sense of joyfulness and great balanced energy. I feel almost radiantly buoyant during some of the movements, like I am about to levitate and fly gently around the room! I find it a really wonderful videotape. Perhaps if you did some of the exercises (at least the seated ones) with your eyes closed it might reduce the dizziness? Good luck. It is *extremely* important to exhale all the air. You may do this by using your abdomen on the outbreath to push the air out with some force. We seldom notice that we are retaining the breath so what I do is mark several exercises betwixt others/and postures in a set designed to facilitate proper outbreath.
