Guest guest
Dear Libby and Kelly, > i have noticed myself being very tired for a few days after yoga sessions as > well. did you ever get a response as to what may be the cause of that, or any idea re: how long before it subsides? There could be a number of reasons. Here is one of them and something to do about it. Try it and let us know. A few years back I noticed that I felt zapped of energy after my Kyoga practice. With the help of a friend who is psychic we determined that KY practice creates a lot of light and that souls who were dead and trying to leave the astral plane were hovering around trying to get enough light to leave. I started chanting Akaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal 3 to 5 times at the end of each session after my long Saaaaaaaaaaat Nams. I no longer felt tired. Yogi Bhajan used to have us chant Akaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal after White Tantric yoga courses to liberate our relatives and friends who were hovering around. We definitely felt lighter after that. So I have applied the same principle to my own practice and to my classes as well. He also taught us to chant 3-5 times Akaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal when someone dies to liberate their soul. Akal means undying soul. I also feel that I am calling on my own soul. Try it and let us know. I would be very interested in your results. In anycase, it is a beautiful mantra and can only lighten your load. Many blessings and Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
