can anyone help me, I have been suffering many ailments over many years,i.e

candida .M.e, gallbladder problems anxiety and because of all these symptoms i

have now developed agoraphobia for the second time in my life.

I came across Gurmakh wonderful new book, and decided to give it a try.

Immediatly I felt this could work for me, however it's a week after starting

the postures and positive thinking ,and today I had quite a bad attack of fear

which I found hard to cope with. I did fight this fear and started breathing

using the sat nam mantra looking for an answer ,which did help and led me

straight here to ask someone out there have they had the same experience and

what can I do to help

myself because I really want to get well

SAT NAM

I too have been going through my own persoal nightmare for many

years. I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. All I can tell you is

that you must give it time. And when an attack of fear or whatever

comes, don't fight it. Breathe easily and just look at what it is you

fear. This sounds contradictory to what you have been doing up to now

and so it is. But do remember that while you are unwilling to face

your fears, they will keep ruling you. Meditation and contemplation,

together with gentle Yoga and the mantra SATANAMA helped me a lot.

This is no instant fix and just to start appreciating your body can

already be a major break through and a major achievement. Remember:::

You are a brilliant child of a loving father. Start appreciating

yourself and if there is any way in which I can be of help. Please

write, you are always welcome.

Emaho and with Metta,

Jacqui
