Guest guest
hi, I would like to know how far aerobics exercising is safe and good for health? I was doing Yoga earlier and still continue doing Surya namaskaras whenever time permits me. I have joined Aerobics recently (2 months back). First month I did not face any health problem. But after 45 days, I am not able to exercise as before. I get severe chest pain, which will also lead to breathlessness. I have been told by my friends and relatives that this is due to acidity/gastritis. I do not know the proper reason behind this. I definetly want to continue excercising as I am in software field wherein I am restricted to sit the whole day. And this leads to lethargy and fatigue, which leads to laziness and gaining extra weight. Moreover I will be very dull the wholeday and cannot be active and thinkQuick which is very much required in software programming. I request the egroup members to suggest me effective remedies, from which I can overcome the chest pain and excercise like others. Also Can anyone please suggest me a good nutritious vegetarian diet, which will give me enough strength to excercise and overcome tiredness. (which is due to lack of nutritious diet) Eagerly waiting for your responses. thanking you, Rashmi.M
Guest guest
Rashmi, Severe chest pains and difficulty breathing could mean something far more serious than acidity. Before you continue aerobics, you may want to get that checked out. It may be nothing, but you don't want to mess around with that. I, too, am in a computer related field and I know about lethargy and stiff muscles. Since practicing kundalini yoga, the stiffness has gone away, I have much more energy and I feel healthier in general. Listen to your body. It knows what it needs. sat nam, Kelly kelly mitchell Media Principia-Ex-centris Montreal,Quebec www.ex-centris.com <http://www.ex-centris.com> Rashmi [rashmi] Monday, December 04, 2000 4:34 AM Kundaliniyoga Exercising - Way to a healthy Living hi, I would like to know how far aerobics exercising is safe and good for health? Guest guest
Dear Rashmi: Severe chest pain & breathlessness could be signs of something more significant than acidity/gastritis - I would consult a medical professional on this score before doing anything that causes those symptoms. Diet-wise, lethargy can be related to many issues - again, talk to the medical person that you consult, since you are going anyway. Nutritionally, lethargy can be caused by excess carbohydrates, or deficiencies of B vitamins, folic acid, vitamin C, iron, selenium, and no doubt many other things as well. Good supplementation is essential to good heath - even if your diet supplies the RDA (recommended daily allowance) of everything, which is unlikely, it is important to be aware than the RDA for most things is only sufficient to stave off deficiency diseases, which is a far cry from optimal heath. Our friend Nancy has provided a web-site with some helpful things about diet, at: http://netdirect.net/~taproot/ And, this site has pointers to many useful sites for vegetarians: http://dir./Society_and_Culture/Food_and_Drink/Cooking/Recipe s/Special_Dietary_Needs/Vegetarian/ Love & blessings, Sadhant
Guest guest
Dear Rashmi, Whenever anyone has severe chest pain followed by breathlessness it needs to be investigated promplty by a doctor to rule out any serious condition. I would urge you to get yourself checked out before attempting self medication. These symptoms can often be the sign of heart disease, as well as other more beign conditions. love and blessings, Avtar ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
