For motivational purposes also, I recommend 'The 8 Human talents' by Gurumk. It is inspirational, and there is some info on asanas, meditations - but not as many as in other books. Guest guest
Gordon's suggestion for book ordering: Rick and All You can get this and any other book available from amazon.com from our Web site - www.kundaliniyoga.com/books.html Please use this feature, rather than buying from Amazon direct - you get the same prices but it helps us to cover the costs of providing, maintaining and upgrading our site. Guest guest
Sat Nam! Regarding the over all practice of Yoga, I have gotten a lot out of How to Know God by Christopher Isherwood and Swami Prabhavananda which elucidates the yoga aphorisms of Patanjali. Guest guest
Sat Nam Libby: In addition to the other ones mentioned, Gururattan Kaur has an "Introduction to Kundalini Yoga" book which is a good beginner's book. Guest guest
Gordon I've tried the link recommended but either it's me, or I just can't seem to get through. Plus I also can't find it within the main kundaliniyoga.com site. Thanks Victor << You can get this and any other book available from amazon.com from our Web site - www.kundaliniyoga.com/books.html >>
Guest guest
Sat Nam Victor, > I've tried the link recommended but either it's me, or I just can't seem to > get through. Plus I also can't find it within the main kundaliniyoga.com site. actually the address of "our" site is kundaliniyoga.org, not .com... Try this: kundalini yogabooks.html Hope you can get through! Guest guest
Victor Sorry, but I have not been monitoring the list for several days due to pressures of work. That link was incorrect - my apologies. It should be kundalini yogabooks.html as someone else has already pointed out. The complete range of books from amazon.com is available over our link to their site. We have featured a range of books that we think might be of interest to everyone, largely on the strength of recommendations from our rs. We have been redesigning and rebuilding the Yoga Technology site. The changes are now online. There are some super new books and CDs to be added to the online catalog. I will email everyone when that has been done. Sat Nam! Gordon > Gordon > > I've tried the link recommended but either it's me, or I just can't seem to > get through.
