Guest guest
Hello everybody, I have had recurring bouts of chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome throughout my life ( I am now 48) since a severe viral illness in childhood. The symptoms include multiple allergies, high susceptibility to infection, periods of extreme fatigue and an assortment of aches and pains, mainly muscular. It has helped to motivate me to explore a wide range of holistic and spiritual approaches to life and healing, and I am now sufficiently skilled to be relatively well much of the time - and to be of service to others. I'm new to KY, however, and would appreciate any advice which may help me to make further progress. I am working my way steadily through the online lessons, Gururattan's "Sexuality and Spirituality" and Gurmukh's "The Eight Human Talents." I also have Gururattan's "Transitions to a Heart-Centered World" on the way. I'm doing as much breathing as I can and an exercise or two per chakra at the moment, building my practise up slowly... Guest guest
Ian: My personal experience with chronic pain and chronic fatigue have led me to believe that much of what I experience is nothing more than "stuck energy." I have found KY very helpful, but also caution against doing too much that stirs the energy within the body without releasing it, as that can actually cause pain. Well, it has for me. I also have to be very careful about who I take class from, as I have found that less skilled and/or trained teachers have actually caused my body to hurt more after class, while the classes from better teachers provide enormous relief. I'm glad that you have found your way to better health. Have you tried blue-green algae? After taking it daily for just a few days, I cut down the amount of sleep I was needing by roughly 3 hours! I still take it every day and my energy levels have remained much better. If you haven't tried it, I would. Sat Nam, Susan
