Guest guest
Sat Nam Steven: > Why is the root lock so important? What exactly does it do? Root lock coordinates, stimulates and balances the energies involved with the rectum, sexual organs, and navel point (the lower 3 chakras). It redirects excess sexual energy into creativity and bodily repair. If sexual vitality is lacking, the lock will enhance it. The key function of the root lock is to blend prana and apana at the navel center, redirecting the apana energy, which normally would travel down to the first chakra. The apana is recirculated upward to the navel point, creating an inner heat (called tapa), which opens the entrance to the shushmana, the central channel of energy which flows up the spine. The lock also stimulates the flow of spinal fluid. All love surround you, Sadhant
