Guest guest
First of all I want to apologize for my bad english. I'll do my best to make myself understood. I read in a review about an alimentary diet called Oshawa and which is said to increase the yang energy of one person. The diet consist in eating for 10 (ten) days only wheat, buckwheat, rice and millet. Amongst the recipes was one about boiled wheat. The rough wheat was recommended. I boiled the wheat for about 2 hours. Unfortunately I found it a little difficult to eat it. Not because it was hard, but because of its taste. Has anyone heard about this diet? Can somebody tell me another recipe, if possible not too complicated (I'm not too good in the kitchen) The recipe can be about other cereals too. Also I read that these cereals prepared after certain recipes loose their yang aspect and become yin, case in which their are nor recommended. Does the WHEAT becomes YIN after it is BOILED? My last request is that I prefer the answer to be in a simple english. Happy New Year to everybody. Thanks a lot, and I'm sorry if I upset you somehow. Guest guest
Dear Danut, I use Braggs Liquid Aminos which is a form of soy sauce to add taste to grains. Since both are made from soy, either will probably be ok, but you will have to check. Or add some spices or at least salt while you are cooking. How about adding some oil or clarified butter or ghee after they are cooked? Or honey? Or watch TV or read a book so you don't taste the tastelessness.
