Dear Sherri,

Thanks so much for your explanation of what to do with thoughts. Someone

asked today this question and I will include your letter to respond.

The basic answer is to ALLOW AND CONNECT them to the feelings in your body.

> I had an epiphany yesterday re: what to do with all of those troublesome

thoughts that crop up regularly during my meditations and kriya practice.

During our Sat Nam Rasayan class, our yoga teacher said to allow everything,

> all thoughts, all feelings and all sensations, and added to allow all

feelings and emotions connected to the thoughts. This last little addition

[allow all feelings and emotions connected to the thoughts] made such a

profound difference to me. Whereas before the thought would fester and stew

and I could not release it really, now I was able to experience that the

thought was just a shell for an emotion or feeling. It is new to me, and

when the feeling surfaces, suddenly it is alive and free to shift. Unlike

the

> thoughts, which seem to be only charged static things that I can do

nothing with but to continue the old damaging patterns of worry and

anxiety. I am

> eager to explore more, and hope that this may be of value to someone

else.

Keep exploring and sharing. You are on to one the the keys to awareness,

full body meditation and self-empowerment.

Sat Nam,
