Guest guest
Hello, I used do cold showers early in the morning, a couple of years ago, but I had to quit because in the winter time, my body was cold the rest of the day. I'd like to start this practice again, but what can I do to avoid feeling cold the rest of the day? Carlos Giacoman Photos - Share your holiday photos online! Also, be aware that "cold" means from 56-65 F (13-18 C). It is not necessary to be colder than this to get the benefits of the cold shower, so you might want to warm it up a little if it is too cold for you. Also, when you are finished, rub yourself vigorously with a rough towel to stimulate blood flow. Hope this helps! Guest guest
Dear Carlos, You are suppposed to warm up before and after cold showers. The cold is not supposed to penetrate into the core of your body or your organs. It is to simulate the flow of blood at the surface of the skin and awaken the aura. I personally take a warm shower first and then end with a rather long cold shower massaging my body parts where the water hits. It takes more cold after the warm to do the trick. Wear under pants for sure and don't get cold water on the genitles or thighs especially for women. Sat nam, Gururattan Kaur
