There are seven mantras, done in a specific sequence. You can get

tapes/CD's with musical versions of the mantras, and can sing along

or chant along with them - there are many different versions, so you

can get a few, and I highly recommend getting at least one so you can

get the timing and pronunciation correctly - note that not all of

them include #1, which is often done a capella. For all except #6,

sit in easy pose with hands in gyan mudra, eyes closed and focus at

brow point.

1. "long Ek Ong Kar", or the Adi Shakti Mantra, 7 minutes:

Ek Ong Kar

Sat Nam Siri

Wahe Guru

Note: use a "2 1/2" breath cycle, with a deep breath for the 1st

line, a deep breath for the second line, and a half breath for the

3rd line. Pull the navel point on "Ek" and "Sat".

2. Wah Yantee, 7 minute:

Wah Yantee, Kar Yantee

Jag Dut Patee, Aadak It Waahaa

Brahmaadeh Tresha Guru

It Wahe Guru

3. Mul Mantra, 7 minutes:

Ek Ong Kar, Sat Nam

Karta Purkh, Nirbhao, Nirvair

Akal Moorat, Ajoonee, Saibhung

Gur Prasad,

JAP!

Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach, Haibhee Sach

Nanak Hosee Bhee Sach

Note: pause but don't breath between Ajoonee and Saibhung, and

emphasize the "ch" sound in the word Sach (each time)

4. Sat Siri Siri Akal, 7 minutes:

Sat Siri, Siri Akal

Siri Akal, Maha Akal

Maha Akal, Sat Nam

Akal Moorat, Wahe Guru

5. Rakhe Rakhanhar, 7 minutes:

Rakhe Rakhanhar aap ubaarian

Gur kee pairee paa-i kaaj savaarian

Ho-aa aap da-i-aal manaho na visaarian

Saadh janaa kai sang bhavajal taarian

Saakat nindak dusht khin maa-eh bidaarian

Tis sahib kee tayk Nanak mania maa-eh

Jus simrat such ho-eh sagalay dookh jaa-e

6. Wahe Guru Wahe Jio, 22 minutes:

Wahe Guru Wahe Guru

Wahe Guru Wahe Jio

Note: sit in virasan (sit on left foot, right foot flat on the floor,

hands in prayer mudra), with eyes 9/10 closed and focus at tip of the

nose

7. Guru Ram Das Chant, 5 minutes:

Guru Guru Wahe Guru

Guru Ram Das Guru

The liner notes will include both words and translations. Have fun!

Many blessings,

Sadhant
