here is a description of my daily practice: (with the disclaimer that

I know I am doing a modified practice). This gives me more success

than trying to do something that I am not ready for or would be

difficult to incorporate into my life. I have adapted my yoga

practice to my own lifestyle and share this with the hope that it

will inspire others to begin integrating yoga into their lives.

I get up at early light, this time of year that's about 7:00.

First I build a fire (if its really freezing I hop back in bed while

the cabin warms up).

I don't have a shower so no cold shower (unless its raining during my

trip to the outhouse :). Then I sit at my alter, light my candles and

incense, and say my mantras and prayers. At this time I may use info

from one of my yoga books for a particular need, lately that's a

prosperity meditation from Gururattan's 'Heart Centered Life' book.

Then I pop Ravi Singh into my VCR, right now his 'Fat Free Yoga' is

my favorite morning routine.

After that I go about my day.

In the evening I may do another yoga video with Ravi Singh or Carol

Carlson. I also like to use Gabrielle Roth's, 'The Wave' Dance

practice.

If its a bath night I heat up a bath. I have an outdoor bath house

and it is always a wonderful meditation by candlelight.

I've been off ALL caffine, yes including chocolate!! for almost a

month now and I know my yoga practice plays a big part in my making

this long needed positive change.
