I have done some research on this and have come across very contradicting results. Here is what I have always gone by... are these correct? Guest guest Posted January 16, 2001 Report Share Posted January 16, 2001 Dear Kelly: There does appear to be some contradiction among different spiritual paths, but the KY teachings are pretty much as you write - specifically: 1st RED 2nd ORANGE 3rd YELLOW 4th GREEN 5th LIGHT BLUE 6th INDIGO 7th VIOLET My source for this doesn't specify a color for the 8th, but I have heard white from some people. I don't have any books that relate scents with chakras, although I have run across that idea in other teachings - again, with general inconsistency. Because of the inconsistencies in these areas, I avoid specifying these ideas when discussing chakras and focus on the aspects where I see consistency & agreement, such as: location, the relationship to organs, glands and other parts of the body, relationship to sensory systems, the attitudes and behavior associated with balance or imbalance, and other aspects of ourselves to which they relate. I believe all the chakras you have listed are correct, and the 8th chakra, as far as I know, is pink. I am not aware of any scents, but am interested in finding out. Good luck to you. Well, That just about killed me (LOL)... Does anyone know how to reduce tenchen in your legs when doing yoga so you can stretch easier...
