Guest guest
Today has been quite a day: This morning I was dressing after practicing yoga and happened to look in a mirror behind me. From waistband to level with my shoulder blades, my spine was one long, dark red articulated bruise. Obviously, the spinal rolls didn't agree with me today. I say 'today' because I have been rolling on my spine for some time now with no protest from my body. Coincidentally, I had an appointment with a manual therapist (they detect disturbances in the body by taking pulses and use light pressure to remove the disturbances). We all laughed about how apparently my spine was tired of waiting around while we followed another plan of treatment. Well, numerous holes, tears, and/or thinnings of the walls of my spinal artery and vein were discovered during the examination - all fixable and now fixed. So, I have practicing KY to thank for intervening with a life projection that obviously needed to be redirected. P.S. We concluded it wasn't the spinal rolling that initially injured my spine. Rather, the use of Accutane as a teenager probably predisposed me to the problem. A recent car accident probably clinched it. Sat Nam. Nina. I know that many teenagers/young adults use it to clear up acne, but I don't know much more. My very uneducated understanding is that any drug can stick around in your system as a toxin. The toxin is isolated by the body, for instance, if the toxin is located in your liver, the liver may react by "hardening" around the toxin, or "sticking" to adjacent tissues (such as the diaphragm). The result of this is reduced efficiency of the liver... and reduced efficiency of other body organs/systems down the line (everything compensates for everything else). In my case, Accutane (and who knows what other trauma to my spine) set me along the way to compromised spinal artery/vein walls. The drug, transformed to toxin, got "stuck" in these walls. The walls responded to the thinning around the toxin by bunching up or otherwise deforming and hardening. Apparently, there are other drugs out there that have the same base as Accutane (Retinol, Ritalin) and produce the same results. I hope this is helpful.
