Guest guest
Dear All, I have troubled and disgusted by the allega- tion that Sat Nam is anything like "Satan's Name". I woke up this morning with a simple and profound realization. The Western linguis- tic approximation for "Sat Nam" is, of course, the Latin "Sanctus Nomine Deo", which can trans- late to English as "Sacred is the Name of God", or "Holy is the Name of God". One can find churches called "Holy Name". Thus, saying that Sat Nam is equivalent to "Satan's Name" and not "Sancto Nomine" is like saying "Devo" means "devil" and not "divine". Negativity is balanced by positive thought, and, after all, yoga is all about balancing polarities and paradoxes, and, about the unity of it all. Life is an eter- nal recombination of it all. For me,perfection means doing as best as one is able to continu-ally awaken into the present. Light, Love, and Blessings to All. -Seanrobb Join 18 million Eudora users by signing up for a free Eudora Web-Mail account at http://www.eudoramail.com
