Guest guest
Hi Deb Ghee, or clarified butter, can be made by gently heating unsalted butter until all the moisture has evaporated. So, to answer your question, it will have a slightly higher calorific value and fat content than butter. Sat Nam! Guest guest
Sat Nam, Make ghee in a crock pot. I use 5 lbs of butter, turn it on low and leave it overnight. Then I skim off the top, put the clarified middle in containers.and throw away the bottom. EAsy. Sometimes I let it toast for a day or two. Can't go wrong.
