Guest guest
Sat Nam, I am very confused about where some chakras are located. Is the navel chakra right at the belly button or is it two inches below the navel? Is the solar plexus chakra right underneath the sternum? Is the heart chakra in the middle of the chest or right above the sternum? Or am I totally off on the locations altogether? Also, if I just sit and try to clear my head and be peaceful and focus on the third eye - without a mantra - I start to feel really heavy and icky. Isn't that supposed to make you feel good? Am I just taking in too much yuk from the world when I do that or is it something else? Sat Nam! Amanda
Guest guest
SAt Nam, Amanda, > Is the navel chakra right at the belly button no or is it two inches below the navel? yes approximately, you have to feel where the nerve centers join > Is the solar plexus chakra right underneath the sternum? yes and the whole area of the stomach, from the navel--belly button up to the sternum > Is the heart chakra in the middle of the chest or right above the sternum? have to feel it, between the two > Also, if I just sit and try to clear my head and be peaceful and focus on > the third eye - without > a mantra - I start to feel really heavy and icky. Isn't that supposed to > make you feel good? It will eventually. Clear the yuk out with SA TA NA MA meditation. Am I just taking in too much yuk from the world when I > do that or is it something else? Could be your own mental garbage as well. Meditation is to clear the mind. Even Yogi Bhajan has to meditate everyday to keep a clear mind. Join the club. Thanks for your questions. Sat nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
I wanted to me more precise about the solar plexus. It is above the belly button and below the pericardiam which is just below the breasts.
