Hello all,

It took quite a while (a year, at least) from the time that I could se

auras, until I could see the chakras. I still have times when I cannot see

them. Just can't seem to focus correctly, at times. But, you should be able

to look in a mirror and see your aura if the lighting is bright enough.

The chakras are visible. And I see them with my eyes open, not closed. You

will also reach a point where you can see designs (i.e. quarter moons,

funnels, etc) above your head, within your crown chakra. These too can be

seen with the naked eye. Good Luck. Just keep trying.

My only advice is to center. The more centered and detached that you are the

easier it is to see all. It does require the use of your peripheral vision

though. If you look straight on at the aura you will lose it; also anxiety

repels. There are 2 main types of cells in the eye: the rods and the cones.

I beleave it is the cones that are responsible for seeing aura's colors and

they are located along the peripheral area of the retina. To demonstrate

this (without even trying): I have even seen my own aura while driving the

car and looking straight ahead. The areas that I will see will be my hands

and arms and my lower body from the chest down and out from my body about 3

to 4 feet. I even sense and feel the energy around my face and above my

head. Once I dare to directly look at any body part that vision will fade.

So looking into a mirror will work if the room is fairly darkened or dim and

you look out to the side of your body. The same goes when looking at others:

look to the side of thier body keeping them in your peripheral vision. There

are many exercises and books available to tell you how to increase you

ablity; but basicly I recommend to just keep it simple: center, relax,

empty your mind and use your peripheral vision. Hope that this helps.
