Guest guest
Dear Gururattan Kaur I am doing the set in Relax and Renew for Nerve Balance and combining it with the meditation for the shushmani nadi (where you do 9 mahabands up the spine on a held-out breath) as a 40 day set. The combination is stunning in it's effects and I'm loving it. However, the last exercise in the kriya is called Tirkuti Kriya and it's impossible! (not to put too much of a spin on it). Sitting with the soles of the feet together and lifting the feet 6" off the ground(!!)? I've tried it even on those students whose anatomical structure naturally i.e. without any work or effort involved, allows their knees to drop flat on the floor when the soles of the feet are together, and they can't do it either. I'm doing it as best I can by leaving my feet on the floor and lifting my toes as high as I can off the floor with my hands. Any suggestions? I must add that even though I've been doing yoga for many years (KY and other) I still find the lotus really uncomfortable, so I'm not the best person for this one anyway! Also, I missed the website for asking Yogiji questions. Could someone repost it to the list please? Thank you. In love and fearlessness Ravi Kaur.
