Guest guest
Dear Ardas Kaur, There are many truths in the universe. Two of the most basic are the masculine truth and the feminine truth. Yogi Bhajan, in the specific guidelines as set out by Sadhant Singh in his response to you, espouses the masculine truth as do most spiritual paths. They were essentially made for men. Women who learn to be women from birth are inherently spiritual. Unfortuantely, that is not what is cultivated in our culture. So we have to learn what is our inherent essence when we are adults because it has been trained out of us. ( I learned this from Yogi Bhajan in many years of summer camps with him.) >It is all very individual, but I have to say that the perspective described above does not help me. I find it discouraging... That is because, you are tuning into the feminine truth and trying to follow it. > I have done many difficult things in my life ~a day at a > time~, and that way of approaching things > has worked for me. Taking on a philosophy > where what I have done doesn't count unless I do it for a long time without missing a day is probably not going to happen. You are a woman. Honor and respect your own path. I see the only problem is a bit of self doubt. So I am telling you don't doubt yourself. Don't be discouraged if you get an answer that is true for some one else and not true for you and you know it. Rejoice that there are many paths. Your connection and guidance is pure. > The fear of missing a day would make me not want to begin. > But different strokes for different folks; I suppose some people might find this very motivational. This is the masculine side in both men and women. It is motivational if that is what they need and how they operate. Which is fine. Thank you for being honest!
