Guest guest
Sat Nam! i bought myself two wonderful books of Gururattan Kaur for x-mas. I wanted to do this because i wanted to establish a practice on my own (sadhana) but could never remember the sets i was given in class in detail. Now i find i am overwhelmed! =) there is so much good information, and because my moods and needs change from day to day, month to month, season to season, how do i pick just one set to do for 40 days? anyone have a suggestion on how i can find the right set for me? thanks! Guest guest
Sat Nam Akire: (Her books are great, aren't they?) My first teacher taught me to choose 40-day sets based on what I found the most difficult in class - she said that was an indication of what I most needed to work on at the time. BTW, this doesn't necessarily mean the most physically challenging, but perhaps what causes the most emotional turmoil, or causes one to re-examine difficult aspects of life, and so forth. Sometimes I can just tell from the title of the set that I need to do work on it, too. All blessings, Sadhant
Guest guest
Sat Nam, And now for the feminine response. I pick the set that makes me feel good. I love to feel good. I love spinal flexes. And then I throw in a few exercises or short set that is good for me. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
