Dear Carlos and other newcomers to the list,

 

I am sending you a copy of the letter we send to the new members of our

Kundalini Yoga Training list. You may wish to if you have not

already. It seems like some of my comments in this letter will answer some

of your questions. We hope that you will join KYTraining. You will get

only a few emails a month at least one of which is a lesson written by me.

Dear Students of Kundalini Yoga,

 

Congratulations for choosing Kundalini Yoga to step deeper into the

territory of self-exploration and self-empowerment. Kundalini Yoga is a

vast and rich science.

 

Through our FREE course and the information on our Web site -

www.kundaliniyoga.org - we are attempting to make this wonderful technology

available to a global audience.

 

As a beginner, you will ask "Where do I start?" The first step is to go to

www.kundaliniyoga.org and familiarize yourself with the basic principles of

KY. A basic spinal energy series set is available on the site. This is a

great one to start with.

 

There is also a quick stress reduction exercise that will give you an

experience of the power of KY.

 

The next step is to pursue your study by going through the lessons already

available on autoresponder and on the Kundalini Yoga Web site -

www.kundaliniyoga.org/classes.html Take one at a time and devote at least

30 minutes every day to actual practice of the exercises, breathing and

meditations.

 

Periodically you will receive another lesson. These lessons are on-going

and supplement the information already available from our Web site.

 

In order to increase your knowledge and understanding of the materials

presented, and to maximize the benefits that you will obtain, we strongly

recommend that you purchase one of the books available from Yoga

all written by myself. The books are referred to frequently in your

lessons, and make an excellent course accompaniment. Each one is complete in

itself.

 

They help answer many of the questions that you may have, both now and

later, as your studies reach a more advanced level.

 

As a member of KYTraining you will also receive the New Millennium Being

Newsletter. At the end of each newsletter is a meditation that is

appropriate for aligning the specific astrological energy of the current Sun

sign.

 

You will find that there are many yoga sets (kriyas) and meditations to

choose from. Use your intuition to guide you what is best for you. Choose

what feels good to you and PRACTICE. It is though daily practice

that your life will be enriched and transformed.

 

Should there ever be any points of which you are unsure, then do not

hesitate to ask. Send your questions to kytraining, but

please limit them to issues arising from your lessons.

 

For a broader discussion of KY, daily practice and issues that arise in

your spiritual practice, we have created Kundalini yoga. In its two years in

existence, this discussion group has become a supportive community of new

and old students and teachers alike. We encourage you to join us.
