Guest guest
Sat Nam.... if wonder if anyone on this list knows of a good online source for purchasing cotton indian clothing... esp. that of northern india, such as salwar kameez or punjabi sari.... you can e-mail me off list if you think this is off topic but i know that many Sikh women wear clothing such as this... it looks very comfortable and easy to care for.... also, i was wondering if anyone knew the tradition behind the regalia.... would it be odd for a woman who is not Indian or follows a sikh religion to wear such a garment... i would not want to be disrespectful..... thanks for any help.... Two good sites are: http://www.tulsisilks.com/ - silk, cotton, poly - great quality, one of my favorites http://www.bombayfashion.com/ - toooo many!! This is a branch of the famous Priyanka's Boutique through which they sell lower priced garments. It is I believe the only site I know that will ask you for your body measurements and make the garments just for you. The sets are very reasonably priced.
