Guest guest
Hello all, I am relatively new to this list and to KY, having learned what I know about yoga (hatha) almost solely from books over the years. It is so refreshing to be able to practice such a "doable" yoga! I'm currently awaiting the transitions book, but in the meantime I am practicing from the lessons (last year's 1 thru 16) online and my friend has also graciously allowed me to borrow her video tapes (based on a pbs series from alaska) until the book comes. It's only been a week, but I look forward to daily practice each and every afternoon (I am unable to practice in the morning for now due to schedule constraints). I intuit that the changes KY can bring to a person are synergistic on many levels. It goes deep. That something so simple can really do so much! I have never in my life been able to perform even a half lotus, let alone a headstand (I have always sat "taylor fashion and can "just" do a shoulderstand). But time has taught me that there is no shame at all in modifying and doing the best one can. I found the earlier posting about an annomalous hip structure very encouraging. It's true (it's twoo it's twoo! ) that KY can work so quickly. I am feeling the proof in my body and in my heart and mind. Years of attempting hatha yoga have not felt this way to me. Not to say that hatha isn't a wonderful method in its own right. It is just that I feel so connected to this way (KY), like coming home. Blessings to all here. To carlos: Bienvenidos hermano carlos! Mi espanol pudiera ser mejor, pero is bueno a saber algien que esta tambien a practicando esta metido de yoga. Bendiga ser usted. __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=
