Dear Tir Danut, Sat Nam. ( sorry it took me awhile to reply.)

Let me begin by sharing this positive affirmation from the writings

of Yogi Bhajan.....

"The only reality is the divine essence within each person and the

privilage of relating to this essence through the vehicle of

communication"

Being artistically inclined, trying to understand the language

of nature , in all its forms and expressions, is a continuing ,

evolving , study. Looking at a symbol , such as the five pointed

star, leads me directly to the concept of "The Golden Mean" .

The Golden Mean - the heart of sacred geometry- is a special

relationship between a part and a whole that acts as a formula for

harmony and beauty. Creatively using the Golden Mean is an ancient form

of spiritual practice.

Nature's use of the Golden Mean can be found in the animal,

vegetable, and mineral kingdoms. The Golden Mean is a creative

technique and a design motif exhibited throughout the universe in its

unfolding of the pattern of evolution. The relationship is used by

nature for its efficiency, strength, balance, and, perhaps most of all,

for its beauty. The unique "divided, yet unified" quality of

this relationship provides the formula for the rendering of two

fundamental universal patterns: the pentagonal star (five pointed stars

can be found on the national flags of over sixty countries. The

pentagonal star is a worldwide symbol of brilliance and excellence) and

the equiangular spiral. ( as found in the spiral growth of the nautilus

shell and how the seeds grow in the center of a sunflower)

If you would like to learn more, (including the above) you would

find "The Golden Mean Book and Caliper Set" helpful. It can be ordered

from the manufacturer, www.nowandzen.com

also at www.gaiam.com (the website for Explorations catalogue)

Many blessings, Sadhana Kaur
