Guest guest
I am currently suffering from a head cold. Can anyone tell me if Kundalini Yoga has a methodology of getting rid of colds? I have heard that breath of fire was good as a detoxifier.
Guest guest
I don't know of any specific methodologies for getting rid of colds, but while you are ill you might consider avoiding dairy. Dairy increases our mucus, and therefore our misery while we are ill. It also makes mucus thicker and harder to move out of the body. Tammy Stst1 wrote: > I am currently suffering from a head cold. Guest guest
Sat Nam: BOF is a good detoxifier - sitali pranayam (inhale through the curled tongue, exhale through the nose) is recommended for colds & flu. But this technique from ishnaan (yogic hydrotherapy) is what I have found the most effective: Totally submerge yourself in a very hot tub of water. Inhale, exhale, hold the breath out, and pump the navel point 26 times. Repeat this for 15 minutes. Then take a lukewarm shower, and wrap yourself up in blankets for 1-2 hours. Many blessings for a quick recovery, Sadhant
