Guest guest
Thankyou Debbie for your info. Though I myself am not a practitioner of magic, I have a rudementary knowledge and respect for it. We have a lot of animals around here which is a semi-rural area: apple orchards, vinyards and redwood stands (they used to be forests). The animal that has made the biggest impression is the puma I heard walking right by my ground floor bedroom window one night and left tracks to prove it. My first intro to yoga was by a Phys Ed teacher in high school. It was the only class Iever took. My studies on and off over the years have been almost entirely by books, having read Sivananda and Iyengar books as well as the Richard Hittleman books from the 60's. My only discouragement about yoga is that what I've seen in the media of it (magazines, television etc…). It seems that they want to give the impression that all who practice yoga are extremely lean, unusually flexible, young, wealthy, and overwhelmingly white people. An "upscale" marketing ploy I'm sure. I wouldn't feel comfortable attending a class where I was the only "normal" looking person of somewhat limited flexibility. KY on the other hand gives a very different impression. The results are within reach. The spiritual dimension is not ignored. It is wholistic and inclusive and welcoming. I feel wonderful after every sadhana. P.S. I am very very happy with the "transitions" book! So much information, it's worth its weight in platinum. I am making an audio tape for myself to give directions for daily sessions so as to not have to stop and turn pages. __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=
