Guest guest
I did a yoga set in class last night that I believe was for the thyroid . I woke up this morning with quite the headache and feeling bla I can't seem to get a hold of her to give me the sequence and times of this set we did. I thought someone could give me hand as I'd like to repeat it tongiht and for the next few days to see the effects. It involved mostly sitting in easy pose with arms to the side and doing wrist circles, then a exercise with hands out in front and clapping,,,,,arm circles front and then moving back and back to front. One involved hands on your forehead...and perhaps rotating your upper body left and right Im sorry for the length. I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend. Guest guest
Sat Nam Deb: It sounds like "Cleansing the Lymph Glands" from Transitions to a Heart-Centered World. Please say something if you don't have the book, and I'll post the sequence. Many blessings, Sadhant

Guest guest
I do not have that book and I would love it if you would post the sequence. I know that I need to cleanse my lymph glands in a big way and this would really help me. The last massage that I had, she had to work on my glands around my shoulders, upper chest and axilla for a long time. I could not beleave how tender they were. She said that it was causing my headaches and neck and shoulder pain that I had gone to her to treat. Guest guest
Sat Nam Deb: I hope it is the one you want: The set is done in easy pose for the 1st 7 postures. Neck lock is applied during all exercises. 1. Stretch arms at 60 degrees parallel to gound, bend hands up so palms face forward. Circle the right hand, keeping the left still, for 2 minutes. Switch sides & repeat. 2. Arms straight out in front, elbows straight, arms parallel to gound, clap for 2 minutes. 3. Arms in same position as #2 (9" apart), move hands so fingers first point up, then parallel, then down. Jerk them in 3 stages forcefully. 4. Arms straight out to the side, parallel to ground, palms up. Spine straight, moving from hips, lean back and forth slightly, moving arms along with body. 2-3 minutes. 5. Venus lock on top of head, twist rapidly right to left, 2-3 minutes. 6. Arms as in #1, but palms facing down (parallel to ground), slowly raise 1 arm to 60 degrees and the other down to 60 degrees and continuing this up and down movement, move the arms slowly from front to back (to 60 degrees in both directions), 2-3 minutes. 7. Arms out, folded right over left with upper arms parallel to ground, focus at 3rd eye and pull energy from navel to 3rd eye, and chant "Har Hari Har Hari" for 2-5 minutes. 8. Baby pose for 2 minutes. 9. Kneeling, venus lock behind the neck, lean back as far as possible (and balanced), think of 1 God, 1 Earth, peace to all, and happiness for 1-2 minutes. Love & blessings, Sadhant
