Guest guest
[i tried sending this last night and it didn't go through. I apologize if it now shows up twice.] My spirit feels called to take the Master's Touch teacher training course in NM this July and am thrilled at this blessed opportunity. I am rather new to kundalini yoga, although I have been studying another form of hatha yoga for 4-5 years. I hope these questions are not off-topic and that several of you can post some helpful answers. I will be most grateful: 1) Have any of you taken this course? What are your impressions? 2) Is it dreadfully hot in Espanola, NM in July? Do the nights get very cool? Does it rain a lot? 3) What sort of clothes would be appropriate? Mostly white? T- shirts and stretch leggings for exercise class, or something else? Several Indian friends are offering me Indian clothing, I think called Salwar Khameez - these are the tunics and baggy trousers many Indian women wear instead of saris. Would this be appropriate wear for the evening lectures and dinners? 4) Along with other participants, I will be staying in a tent. Oh, joy, I have not done this since I was little girl of 10, camping in Yosemite, and am definitely used to my creature-comforts! What sort of equipment (sheets? bug spray? etc.) should I absolutely bring along? Any other suggestions? Thanks so very much. Guest guest
Sat Nam Jiwan Mukta Kaur! > 1) Have any of you taken this course? What are your impressions? I took the course 2 years ago - it was wonderful (I went back for a module of level 2 last year and hope to do another this year). The opportunity to learn from YB and a variety of experienced teachers, and to learn and practice with (and make contacts with) other teachers, was a real joy and a true blessing. > 2) Is it dreadfully hot in Espanola, NM in July? Do the nights get > very cool? Does it rain a lot? It gets hot, but there is no humidity - to my taste, 100 degrees in dry air is more comfortable than 85 in humid air. It is a desert, so it cools off nicely at night. It doesn't rain much, again, it is a desert climate. Good to be prepared for it, though, because when it does rain, it rains very hard! > 3) What sort of clothes would be appropriate? Mostly white? T- When you sign up you will get a detailed list of what items to bring along for dress, camping, etc. Love & blessings, Sadhant
Guest guest
The 3HO has mailed out info to me on the Masters Touch which I very much would love to take. Can anyone let me know how long this course is in New Mexico- 2-3 weeks? Is it yearly? Since the 3HO sight has been down it is hard to find out this information. Many thanks, Laura NS, Canada
Guest guest
Sat Nam Laura: > Can anyone let me know how long this course is in New Mexico- 2-3 Master's Touch 1 lasts 2 weeks - it is taught once a year. The Master's Touch 2 modules are 5 days each and are also taught annually in NM, in the week after MT1. Blessings, Sadhant
