Guest guest
Sat Nam, All. Last week, Sadhant invited me to post a few notes on the Atlanta White Tantric event. So, notes I shall post... but only 3. --- I almost didn't get to White Tantric. Several times over. This degree of sansho shima was phenomenal. It was nearly impossible to register for the event, coordinate the two carloads of people, get directions, pack, meet my car mates on time, find the ashram, get to White Tantric on time, etc. It was only by accident and on the spur of the moment that I even decided to go to White Tantric (slipped that decision/move behind the back of that old sansho shima!). When describing my difficulties in getting to the event, I found out that others have routinely experienced these resistances on the way to similar events. Interesting. --- I am so glad I had the opportunity to stay at the ashram in conjunction with this event. The hospitality of my hosts was remarkable and I greatly appreciated meeting a group of fellow participants prior to the event. Waking up Saturday morning to the sounds of voices singing Sikh morning prayers had a beauty only to be outdone by practicing sadhana with a group, something I wish was more easily replicable in my daily life. I was also fortunate to be able to join the 'gudwara' (sp?), or Sikh worship service, and feast on Sunday. Curiously, though the White Tantric event is memorable and intense, I believe my stay with Sat Mohinder and Sat Mohine and the rest of the crew will be equally, if not moreso, memorable. --- Ah, yes, and now on to the event proper. I understand now why so few people would delve into discussion of what to expect from White Tantric... and I'm going to beg off in the same way. It's too soon to say, anyway. Don't you have to wait 40 days to know what it is really like? --- Sat Nam. Nina.
