Dear Laura,

I have found that my Kundalini energy will sometime rise on its own with no

effort on my part. It doesn't seem to matter where I am or what I am doing.

I'm told that this will happen over time after much practice and effort when

first starting. The effort required should become less over time. I can tell

you that I have had success in moving my KE while driving to work by

breathing and gently contracting and releasing (pumping) the sphincter

muscles. At the same time focusing on the lower chakras. By the time I get to

work it has moved up to my heart and I'm ready for a wonderful day filled

with love. A good book to read is The Multi-Orgasmic Man by Mantak Chia and

Douglas Abrams. Chapter six is especially for women. Another in Kundalini

Awakening A Gentle Guide to Chakra Activation and Spiritual Growth by John

Selby.

Hope this helps. Keep that energy flowing and have a wonderful day!

Love is the Answer

I am wondering if there are things we can do during the day; besides our daily

practice of kundalini yoga, to help raise the kundalini energy.

Such as; while driving for instance or walking? Or would this be inappropriate

due to the fact the sacredness would be taken out of it?

If there are things I could do while busy during the day could someone please

list them?

Thanks so much,

Laura,

Hi laura

I think there is some material (a book? video? ) on KY whilst walking.

I'm sure some of the other list members wil reply on this.

I alos use a mantra - silently! - whilst on the bus to work.

Namaste

Dear Laura,

The four part breath that is on www.kundaliniyoga.org is great for a pick up

during the day, especially before lunch. I like doing dog or triangle pose

about 3 or 4 or atleast before dinner. It is energizing and relaxing. I do

long deep breathing or breath of fire while driving. Also rootlock is fun.

Also good soothing chanting tapes are calming while driving. It is

appropriate. Inhale mentally chant Sat, exhale mentally chant Nam is the

classic recommendation.
