Guest guest
Sat Nam Nick: Someone in the Espanola ashram once told me that if we did everything YB said we should do every day, it would take just under 42 hours. This could be a problem with most schedules There are many different approaches to sadhana, including the ones you mention. It is best to experiment to see what works for you (and, of course, this will change over time). BTW, another great routine is 31 Sat Kriya, 11 Kirtan Kriya, 31 Sodarshan Chakra Kriya. Last year I did a sadhana that Gurucharan suggests, alternating between doing this routine one day and the Aquarian chants the other - it was wonderful! Many blessings, Sadhant PS - don't forget to relax after Sat Kriya

Guest guest
Sat Nam, "Nick Costa" <nicholas.costa YB recommends we do the following daily: > A)Kirtan Kriya, Sat Kriya and One-minute breath (53 mins) He has also recommended doing 11 minutes each of the above. Hey. That is only 33 instead of 53 minutes. > B)Aquarian Sadhana chants (62 mins) > I am a bit confused, are we supposed to do both (A) and (B) daily..or one or the other..or can we > choose some combination of the two to fit our available time? Do what you can. Just do something! :+) There are ways to atleast listen the Aquarian Sadhana during the day. One great way is to turn it on an hour before you wake up in the morning. Another is to play it while you are doing your KY. These are not the same as chanting but they do allow you to get the vibration into your psyche. Or listen to the tape 2 times during the day. Hey. That is > only 33 instead of 53 minutes. In New Millenium Being 12, it says Sat Kriya 31 mins. Can you clarify please. Thank you, Sat Nam -- Nick
Guest guest
Dear Nick, Sat Kryia can be done up to 31 minutes. Actually even more, but let's be realistic. The recommended times for most meditations including Sat Kryia are 5, 11, 15, 22, 31, 62 minutes. You pick the times based on the amount of time you have, your experience and the benefits you desire. I do not recommend starting out with 31 minutes, but working up to 31 minutes is great. Again if you have the time to do it and it is your choice to concentrate on that exercise vs other meditations. If you do it 11 minutes every day, that is great. How about once a week for 31 minutes? Followed by 31 minutes of deep relaxation. Maybe Sunday, instead of church.
