Guest guest
Sat Nam Sadhant: Thank you for this posting, just one question: If I want to build up a sadhana to work out with the 8 chakras, ¿do I have to performance all the exercises you are suggesting for each chakra or you can choose one or two for each one? We recommend that you do not break up kriyas or invent your own by mixing up exercises from different kriyas - they should be done as given. The kriyas in that list allow you to focus on a single chakra at a time, so one approach to using these kriyas would be to work on one chakra each day. Another would be to focus your energy on a particular chakra that seems to be blocked, and work on the equivalent set for 40 days (or more). If you are having trouble seeing where you might be blocked, I'd recommend working with Gururattan's book "Your life is in your chakras", which can provide a lot of insight about each chakra, and how a particular imbalance might be manifesting. Truly, the regular practice of KY (sadhana), regardless of which kriya you choose to work on, will gradually open all the chakras. There are kriyas that work on all the chakras, such as Sodarshan Chakra Kriya. Even the Basic Spinal Energy Series sequentially stimulates all the chakras, and the "morning call" mantra (long Ek Ong Kar) also works on each chakra. Many blessings, Sadhant
