Guest guest
Esteemed Sadhant, I read with interest your posting about requirements for certification following the 17-day intensive training course. You mentioned a written exam, and a 40-day meditation. Can you kindly explain about this 40-day meditation? What sort of meditation is the student given to do, or does the student choose his/her own? How long is the daily meditation? Any other info? I have not yet received all the detailed info from 3HO about the course. Your explanation would be helpful to me in terms of preparing myself both mentally and time-wise. Guest guest
Dear Jiwan Mukta Kaur: > exam, and a 40-day meditation. Can you kindly explain about this It could be a yoga kriya or a meditation. Generally speaking, you get to choose something to work on for 40 days, and you keep a journal of your experience to be handed in. When doing a 40-day set, one first builds up to the full time (for each posture in the case of a physical kriya, or the full assigned time for a meditation, which does depend on the particular meditation), and then repeating at the full time for 40 days in a row. In some cases, you may be assigned something to work on, by YB or by one of the teacher trainers - they may see something that you will particularly benefit from. For example, I was given Sodarshan Chakra Kriya for 31 minutes, and I also chose to do a kriya for the 40 days as well. Some people don't get assignments, some get more difficult and lengthy ones. Love & blessings, Sadhant
