Sat Nam: All

Beginning my meditations, I focus on the 3rd eye chakra however, I always get

a burning sensation with a feeling of pressure across the front part of my

forehead.

Am I doing something incorrectly?

Peace,

Ellen

That isn't an uncommon sensation if you are just starting and are not

used to holding your eyes up like this - it will pass with practice.

Note: don't stare hard at the brow point - it should be simply a

gentle gaze.

Many blessings,

Sadhant

No. But you might wish to experiment with the two techniques below.

There is a point inside the head where it is easy to focus or to gently

bring the eyes to. This is more inside the head than on the forehead. Try

to find this spot and bring one eye and then the other eye to this place.

One eye may go easier than the other. The eyes will naturally gravitate to

this point once you have found it.

Also you can simply look into your inner space. It is like looking into a

deep dark space. It gets bigger and vaster with more gently looking. It

feels good to be inside yourself. You will also feel that your body is

somehow inside that space. It is very relaxing to be there.

After achieving the above, the point of light will be easier to activate and

maintain.
