Guest guest
Sat Nam Sally, > Does anyone know or know where I can get the Sanskrit writing for the adi mantra? Actually, most KY / Sikh writings, mantras included, are not Sanskrit, but Gurmukhi. The writing is very similar to Sanskrit, but not identical, nor is the language itself. You can find most mantras in the Sundaar Gutkaa (the book of daily prayers that Sikhs and many KY practitioners use). The book includes the original Gurmukhi script, English transliteration and translation as well. It is available through www.cherdikala.com . You can also find the original script for many matras and chants online through www.sikhnet.com (you may need to check out a few links on that site). Hope this helps. Peace and blessings, Satsang Kaur
