If anyone else receives it,you should immediately delete it without opening the attachment. the subject is about "Snow white". It is a damaging virus. Guest guest Posted April 3, 2001 Report Share Posted April 3, 2001 Dear Sukhmani Kaur Firstly, to allay fears from our other rs, the virus was not sent to you by anyone connected with this mailing list, and all email attachments which could carry infections are automatically removed by the server before mail is sent to the list. I presume that you have now deleted this message, but if anyone else receives it please let me know the address of the originator. If any of our rs has been knowingly sending out this virus, then they won't be a r here for very long. If this list is the only place you have posted using your address, then that is a possibility. Finally, this virus is harmless unless opened, which is what the sender would like you to do. I was receiving it in mail here regularly a few months ago from an anonymous source, but eventually they stopped trying. Any up-to-date anti-virus software will take care of it for you. Sat Nam!
