Guest guest Posted April 6, 2001 Report Share Posted April 6, 2001 I am not criticizing Ravi as a yoga teacher. His teachings have changed my life for the better. It is BECAUSE his yoga teachings are so valuable that I thought his latest video (I refer to "Beauty & Truth: A Daily Yoga Workout for Women") is not up to what it should be. The exotic setting, candles ect. and "artsy" video techniques come off as cheesy because of the shoddy craftsmanship of the video itself. And, they are expensive. It is not a condemnation of him or his teachings to say his latest video production lacks quality. It also isn't doing him any favors to pretend its great when it isn't. Again, I think he is a wonderful yoga teacher. All the more reason for him to get good professional assistance with his video production.
