Breath of Fire and Cholesterol

Last October I had my cholesterol checked and (gulp) it was 238. I

had it checked again in March and it was (grin) 183. The only thing

different I have done between then and now is KY. (Ravi's Fat Free)

I asked a med student if the differences in PH, brought on by the

breath of fire, could have played a roll in lowering my cholesterol.

It is my understanding that acidosis or alkalosis results from

alterations in breathing patterns. The med student said the topic

was never addressed in the Western paradigm of medicine. Well seeing

that Western medicine has only been developing for a couple hundred

years---I now pose the question to the ancient yoga arts---any

takers???

We also discussed the effects of lowered stress on cholesterol

levels. Ravi sure can lower your stress;-)

Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa who wrote Meditation as Medicine might have some

ideas on that or might at least like to hear about it. Someone had his

email address.

KY does put your body back in balance so I am not surprised. But I don't

have the explanation. I am satisfied by the results. And it would we good

to get this type of discussion going on in the medical community. Thanks

for sharing the great news.
