Self-Initiation

Dear Friends,

 

I periodically get a question about initiation. In the KY path there are no

outside initiations. Ky is about self initiation.

Individual initiation means that you do your own practice and through the

development of your own consciousness you connect with the divine within. There

are many ways to say the above, but the main point is that no one else initiates

you. You do it by practicing the teachings of KY, whatever else of the

teachings of Yogi Bhajan you choose to incorporate in your life, and through the

other aspects of your individual spiritual path.
