Guest guest
In regards to wanting to incorporate some Jesus consciousness into this weekend, I would suggest the Smiling Buddha Kriya. I think it has been discussed on this list before. I did this meditation for my first 90 day meditation and it completely opened my heart. The benefits are incredible. The meditation is to open the heart to christ consciousness and to develop the positive mind. It is said to have been practiced by Jesus himself. It can be found in Gururattan's Transitions to a Heart Centered World (pg. 133), and in The Mind by Yogi Bhajan and Gurucharan (pg. 154). To do the meditation (as cited in The Mind) 1) sit in easy pose with your spine straight 2) curl the ring and pinky fingers in the palm; bend the thumb over the top of them to hold them in place; pointer and middle fingers point straight up; palms face forward 3) elbows by your side, hands by the shoulders with the two fingers of each hand pointing up 4) bring forearms and hands forward to a 30 degree angle from the vertical 5) press shoulders and elbows back firmly 6) with eyes closed and focused at the brow point (3rd eye) 7) create steady, slow, deep, and complete breath 8) mentally chant from the brow point out to the universe SAA TAA NAA MAA 9) continue for 11 to 62 minutes. 10) to end, inhale deeply and exhale 3x. then open and close the fists several times 11) relax I strongly suggest this meditation! Enjoy your easter weekend. Remember the blessing of every breath and offer love, light, peace, and joy to the people who cross your path!
