WOW! I live on a mountaintop farm in Vermont with zero light pollution, and last night the show was absolutely awe-inspiring. I hope you don't mind this slightly off-topic message, because I'd like to share my experience. If you've never seen the Northern Lights, it is like seeing the aura of the whole world at once, which is incredibly energizing. I wish you all could see this. I didn't get your post until Monday am, because I was away over the weekend, so I thought I'd missed it. But at about 2:00 am EST my husband and I went outside, and the sky was on fire - bright turquoise and pinks. I haven't seen an aurora for several years, and this is among the most active fields I've seen ever. There was so much activity that it looked like a light show from a 1970's rock concert! The northern horizon was brilliant, of course. The fingers of light were streaking across the sky and formed a dome directly over our heads - nearly closing the gap, even in the southern sky, and it constantly sent flashes through the sky like a silent lightening storm. I felt very alive - and I wanted to dance. (except that it was 2:30 am after a very long day Can anyone recommend a meditation for bringing in some of this universal energy?
