Guest guest
Hello-- I have one CD of morning sadhana recorded by Erin Kamler. I got it from Ravi Singh's website and it is very pretty; I like to listen to it at night as i practice. I was wondering if anyone had any other favorite recordings, not nessecarily of morning sadhana, that they enjoyed. I am looking to purchase another CD (I am particularly drawn to Wahe Guru, Wahe Jio and Guru Ram Das) and would love to hear some recommendations! Sat Nam, Jessie By the way: does anyone else notice that the very slightest practice can make a difference? Sometimes when I feel myself contracting away from people, I recite in my head "Hummmmm" as recommended by Gurmukh to open the heart center. Lo and behold, it lifts me right up! My favorite sadhana albums are "Morning Glory" by Siri Ved Kaur and "Melody and Majesty" by Sat Kirin Kaur. I also love "Echoes From the Past" by Gurushabad Singh, partly because YB himself does the long Ek Ong Kar's. Oh, and "Live at Five!" is so much fun! This is what sadhana would sound like if the Grateful Dead played it Other favorite KY music: "RaMaDaSa" by Gurnam, "Meditation for Healing" (this is Guru Ram Das) by Libby Roderick, the new (tantric) "SaTaNaMa" by Simran Kaur, "Naad: The Blessing" by Sangeet Kaur, "So Darshan Chakra Kriya" by Wahe Guru Kaur - and so many more... > By the way: does anyone else notice that the very slightest >practice can make a difference? Amazing how little it takes, isn't it? For me, the thing that really works for staying centered is breath awareness (and, BTW, the neti pot has really helped me with this). I haven't tried the "Hummmm", but will make a point of it. Thanks! All love surround you, Sadhant
Guest guest
I also have that tape...I asked Ravi to send me a tape, and that's the one he sent. I went to a KY retreat last year, and the CD that everyone fell in love with was "Amrit Vela", Sadhana Chants. Gurmukh played this CD during morning sadhana and sometimes during our yoga practice. Many blessings Sheila B. - <jmallor <Kundaliniyoga> Thursday, April 19, 2001 4:00 PM chant/ mantra recording recs? > Hello-- > I have one CD of morning sadhana recorded by Erin Kamler. Guest guest
Sat Nam m-c, > i know that some cds are available on yogatech.com, but where can we > find all the others you wrote about? Two really great online catalogs are: www.a-healing.com - This is the 3HO-affiliated Ancient Healing Ways site, with not just recordings but books, herbal remedies and just about anything else www.cherdikala.com - Another great site for recordings. They have their own studio and produce many of the recordings on the site. Great collection. Some audio samples are available so you could try them before you buy. Also www.sikhnet.com has a huge online archive that you can listen to, however the recordings are not for sale at the site. The site was down this morning when I looked at it but it is usually very reliable and with lots of information. Happy listening and many blessings! If you can't find things at the other on-line sites that Satsang mentions, you can find any KY music through Golden Temple (800-829- 3970 or 505-753-0563) - they have by far the largest collection. If you order, ask for a catalog, since they don't have it on-line. Many blessings, Sadhant
